About the Role

Baraya Extended Care is seeking a Nursing Specialist to join their team in Abha, Asir. This full-time role involves delivering advanced nursing care to critically ill patients within the unit. The Nursing Specialist will utilize strong clinical judgment and expertise in critical care to monitor patients and manage life-support equipment.

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care through close coordination with multidisciplinary teams. This position plays a key role in patient stabilization, recovery, and family support, ensuring comprehensive care in a critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous monitoring and assessment of patients.
• Administer high-risk medications and titrate IV drips according to protocol.
• Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
• Implement physician orders and promptly escalate changes in patient condition.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the wider care team.
• Support and educate family members on care plans and patient conditions.

Essential Functions

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Perform emergency procedures such as CPR, code blue response, and rapid assessments.
• Adhere to infection control practices and safety policies.
• Participate in patient rounds, audits, and quality improvement activities.
• Mentor and guide junior nursing staff in unit practices and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in nursing, particularly within critical care settings. Strong clinical judgment and expertise in managing critically ill patients are essential for this role.
