Pharmacy Manager

About the Role

Saudi German Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to join their team in Abha, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a qualified professional with strong leadership skills and a background in hospital pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and operational excellence within pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations for both Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) services.
• Manage pharmacy budgets, focusing on cost optimization, inventory control, and resource allocation.
• Ensure strict compliance with CBAHI and JCI accreditation standards, as well as all relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, supervise, and foster the professional development of the pharmacy team to maintain operational excellence.
• Monitor pharmacy performance metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), medication safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative departments to ensure the efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. A PharmD or other postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of pharmacy experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven experience managing both Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) pharmacy operations within a hospital environment.
• Strong knowledge of CBAHI and JCI standards.
• Demonstrated experience in pharmacy budgeting, inventory management, and daily operational oversight.
