Project Manager

About the Role

Vrinda Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead GIS substation projects up to 230 kV. This full-time position is based in Al-Ahsa, Eastern Region, and involves comprehensive project execution from engineering through commissioning and closeout. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, preferably with experience serving Saudi Aramco and GCC Oil & Gas clients.

Project Scope and Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, budget, and schedule. This includes managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial design to final handover.

• Lead project teams and manage relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee engineering, design coordination, construction activities, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, cash flow, invoicing, and overall profitability.
• Coordinate procurement processes, subcontracting, and resource allocation for projects.
• Ensure strict compliance with Saudi Aramco specifications, project procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), risks, and contractual obligations, implementing corrective actions to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Conduct regular progress review meetings, resolve technical and commercial issues, and report project status to senior management.
• Manage energization procedures, punch-list clearance, final completion certification, and project closeout activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically with GIS substation projects up to 230 kV.
• Proven experience working with Saudi Aramco and GCC Oil & Gas clients is preferred.
• Strong background as an Electrical Engineer.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including engineering, construction, commissioning, cost control, and subcontractor management.
