About the Role

DYNEX Arabia is seeking a Procurement Team Leader to join its team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading a dedicated team responsible for managing procurement processes and ensuring operational efficiency. The Procurement Team Leader will contribute to shaping procurement strategy, influencing cost-saving initiatives, and driving operational excellence within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the entire procurement process, including managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms aligned with financial strategies.
Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on driving cost efficiencies and improving the quality of goods and services across all departments.
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team by providing guidance, feedback, and training to enhance skills and performance.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to make informed decisions that optimize procurement practices and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities and expenditures.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure a reliable supply chain.
Monitor and evaluate procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices across the team.
Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, detailing achievements, challenges, and strategies for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process to maintain operational integrity.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 4 years of relevant experience in procurement.
