Role Overview

The Services Sales Expert will contribute to SAP’s Services business by focusing on strategic accounts. This role involves building executive relationships, identifying customer challenges, and developing service-led transformation plans that aim to deliver business outcomes. It is a senior sales position with end-to-end responsibility, from opportunity identification to deal closure and transition to delivery teams. The Services Sales Expert acts as the primary contact for SAP Services within assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior executives, serving as a trusted advisor.
Understand customer technology landscapes, strategic priorities, and competitive environments.
Serve as the single point of contact for SAP Services within assigned accounts.
Develop strategic account plans using SAP’s tools to address customer needs.
Lead and coordinate internal teams and partners to manage sales cycles.
Achieve Services bookings and revenue targets for assigned accounts.
Manage opportunity creation, bid management, and deal closure throughout the sales cycle.
Develop commercially sound proposals aligned with SAP governance standards.
Sell the full portfolio of SAP Services based on customer requirements.
Ensure accurate pipeline management and forecasting in internal systems.
Manage the transition from sales to delivery, ensuring clarity of contracts and scope.
Support delivery teams on commercial aspects of active engagements.
Ensure proper alignment of customer expectations, obligations, and success criteria.
Collaborate with Account Executives, cross-functional sales teams, and SAP’s ecosystem and technology partners.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Over 10 years of experience in enterprise software and/or IT services sales, with a consistent record of achieving quotas.
Demonstrated experience in closing medium to large complex deals within competitive, consultative sales environments.
Experience working with large, multinational customers and managing extended sales cycles.
Deep understanding of enterprise applications (Cloud, Hybrid, X+O) and application lifecycle management.
Proven success in pipeline growth, accurate forecasting, and collaboration with Account Executives.

Work Environment

This role is part of a team focused on helping customers realize value from their SAP investments. The position involves influencing strategic accounts and shaping digital transformation journeys for organizations across the region. This is a full-time position.
