The Role: Assistant Production Manager

Almarai is seeking an Assistant Production Manager for a full-time position in Al Kharj, Riyadh. This role involves supporting the Production Manager in overseeing daily operations within the bakery and pastry production floor. The Assistant Production Manager will ensure that all production activities are conducted smoothly and efficiently, adhering to the company’s established quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager in managing daily operations of the bakery and pastry production floor.
• Ensure efficient and smooth execution of all production activities.
• Maintain adherence to company quality standards throughout the production process.
• Uphold safety protocols and standards within the production environment.
• Contribute to meeting established productivity targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Production Management, or Hotel Management.
• 5 to 6 years of experience in a Chef de Partie (CDP) capacity, specifically in Bread, Pastry, Viennoiserie, and Hot & Cold Kitchen.
• Demonstrated strong experience combining artisanal bakery expertise with the systems, controls, and performance discipline required in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• High-volume artisanal bakery experience is highly preferable.
