As a key player in our production team, you will oversee and streamline production processes while ensuring quality and efficiency.
As a key player in our production team, you will oversee and streamline production processes while ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the production manager to develop production plans based on job priorities, machinery constraints, and material availability.
- Review workshop drawings and material lists to understand the tasks prior to manufacturing.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and inventory teams to ensure all job requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Lead, guide, and develop the workshop team to ensure job completion within budget and specifications.
- Communicate necessary job information to the team and discuss all production processes and techniques before manufacturing begins.
- Monitor job progress against plans and update the production manager on necessary changes.
- Evaluate subcontractor performance.
- Prepare packing lists and conduct inventory material checks.
- Review and approve material requests.
- Conduct quality inspections pre-welding, pre-surface treatment, and post-surface treatment.
- Identify and record production and process non-conformities and engage relevant staff for corrective actions.
- Resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
- Ensure the correct product tracking at each stage.
- Maintain employee productivity and safety practices.
- Manage preventive and reactive maintenance operations.
- Prepare reports for management to communicate performance and resource needs.
