Environment Health Safety Lead

About the Role

TalentHive is recruiting for an HSE Lead on behalf of a well-established Saudi group undergoing a significant transformation and investment in Saudi talent. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and offers a salary of up to SAR 15,700 per month plus standard benefits. The role focuses on strengthening the Health, Safety & Environment function within a large and operationally diverse environment.

Role Context and Impact

This HSE Lead position provides an opportunity to influence safety performance, strengthen HSE governance, and collaborate closely with operational teams to foster a proactive safety culture. It extends beyond traditional HSE Officer or inspection roles, offering exposure to HSE governance, operational risk management, performance improvement, and workforce engagement, with a direct impact on safety standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor operational compliance with HSE requirements and internal controls.
• Conduct and oversee risk assessments, inspections, and audits.
• Identify hazards and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Support and lead incident and near-miss investigations.
• Monitor HSE performance, trends, and KPIs.
• Work closely with operational teams to strengthen safety awareness, ownership, and accountability.
• Support HSE training, toolbox talks, and workforce engagement initiatives.
• Maintain appropriate HSE documentation, reporting, and compliance records.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance, compliance, and risk reduction.
• Provide guidance and support to HSE Officers/Inspectors and operational stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as an HSE professional.
• Demonstrated experience in a complex operational environment.
• Ability to lead and support HSE initiatives and drive safety culture.
