About the Role

Al Qaryan Group is seeking a Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, operation, and security of the enterprise IT infrastructure. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern region, and requires ensuring a secure, resilient, and high-performing environment across on-premises and cloud platforms to support critical business applications and services.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities, a security-first mindset, and excellent documentation and problem-solving skills. The role involves managing complex IT infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity posture, and providing technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco and Huawei technologies, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN.
Manage and optimize network, server, and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
Configure, manage, and secure Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, IDS/IPS, and other security solutions.
Perform vulnerability assessments, coordinate penetration testing, and lead remediation activities to strengthen cybersecurity posture.
Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Develop and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
Lead infrastructure enhancement projects and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable IT services.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure performance and security.

Qualifications and Experience

5-10 years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering.
Demonstrated expertise in Cisco and Huawei networking technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
Proficiency in Fortinet firewalls and security solutions.
