BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FREIGHT FORWARDING

About the Role

Freight Care Logistics is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time role focuses on driving new business, developing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within the local market. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Generate leads and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market visits.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Promote sea freight, air freight, land transportation, customs clearance, and logistics solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close sales opportunities.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Conduct regular customer visits and understand their logistics requirements.
• Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to provide competitive and efficient solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and submit regular sales reports to management.
• Follow up on RFQs, tenders, quotations, and customer inquiries.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and develop long-term business relationships.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Proven ability to generate new customers and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• A strong network of customers in Dammam/Eastern Province is an advantage.
• A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
• Saudi market experience is preferred.
