Projects Engineer

About the Role

Tabuk Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Projects Engineer to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role involves managing and coordinating engineering projects within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, ensuring that project targets, milestones, and deadlines are consistently met. The Projects Engineer will provide essential technical oversight for critical pharmaceutical utilities and ensure adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate assigned engineering projects, ensuring the achievement of project targets, milestones, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical oversight for critical pharmaceutical utilities, including HVAC systems, purified water/WFI systems, electrical systems, compressed air, and other facility utilities.
• Review engineering designs, technical specifications, drawings, method statements, and project documentation.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress, quality, and compliance with approved specifications and safety requirements.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, and potential delays, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable GMP, EHS, engineering standards, and pharmaceutical facility requirements.
• Maintain strong control of project scope, changes, costs, and schedules.
• Prepare and communicate regular project progress reports and highlight critical issues requiring management attention.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience of 2-5 years in engineering or project execution within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
• Strong character and leadership skills, with the ability to firmly and professionally manage contractors and drive them toward agreed commitments.
• High commitment to project objectives, timelines, milestones, and successful delivery.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and make timely decisions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a results-oriented and ownership-driven mindset.
