About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to maintaining high-quality standards within our operations.

Role Purpose

The Quality Technician will provide essential support to the chemist in various quality assurance activities. This includes critical tasks such as sampling raw materials and finished products, ensuring laboratory cleanliness, managing reports, and maintaining accurate files and reference samples. The role is integral to upholding product quality and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the chemist in acquiring samples of incoming raw materials and finished products, strictly following established sampling guidelines.
• Support the chemist in the inspection of raw and packaging materials, including vehicles when necessary, and aid in finished product analysis preparations, such as sample grinding and ensuring lab ware readiness.
• File Raw Material inspection reports and weak link reports, and facilitate their distribution as appropriate after obtaining due signatures.
• Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and overall organization of the laboratory environment.
• Assist the chemist in fulfilling the requirements of ongoing development projects.
• Support the chemist in the systematic keeping of reference samples for both raw materials and finished products.
• Aid the chemist in handling incidences related to raw materials and finished products, which includes the isolation and proper labeling of Hold pallets.
• Implement, sustain, and actively participate in the continual improvement of the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Management System within the area of responsibility, in accordance with legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS, and relevant EHS standards. Ensure proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with activities are in place and OH&S targets are achieved.

Required Experience

• Candidates must possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance or laboratory setting.

Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators that reflect operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards. These include:

• Maintaining a high standard of lab cleanliness.
• Ensuring the timely issuance of reports without any sampling delays.
