We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team in Riyadh. This role is essential in managing procurement processes for maintenance and household materials, ensuring that our projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and review material requests from project engineers and site supervisors, ensuring specifications are clear and accurate.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local suppliers to obtain the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Process purchase orders in accordance with company procurement policies and budget approvals.
• Negotiate contract terms and manage supplier relationships to ensure service reliability and product quality.
• Follow up on deliveries to project sites and ensure materials are received on time.
• Coordinate with the technical and quality teams to inspect and verify received goods.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier details, delivery times, and invoices.
• Monitor stock levels and forecast future material needs based on project schedules.
• Keep updated with market trends and price fluctuations in construction and maintenance materials.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all procurement operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and finishing materials (sanitary, electrical, ceramic, paint, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driving license is preferred (for supplier and site visits).

• Coordinate with the finance department to ensure proper invoicing and payment processing for procurement activities.
• Perform other duties as required to support the efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services for the project.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Typically 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related roles.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, purchasing systems, and supplier management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing purchase orders and supplier documentation.
• Proficiency with procurement software and tools (*, SAP, Oracle, MS Excel).
