The Accountant Role

Wajda Group is seeking a skilled Accountant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position critical to managing the company's daily accounting operations. The individual in this role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various financial processes to ensure compliance and provide reliable data for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain general ledgers.
• Reconcile bank and account statements regularly.
• Prepare invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external auditors.
• Provide accurate financial data to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in an accounting role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage comprehensive day-to-day accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of financial transaction recording, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Work Setting

This position is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Accountant will work within a collaborative team environment, contributing directly to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of Wajda Group's regional initiatives.
