About the Role

Taleem REIT Fund is seeking an Alternative Investments Vice President to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on the effective management of existing alternative investment mandates while contributing to new initiatives.

Core Function and Strategic Contribution

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the effective and efficient management of all assigned existing alternative investment mandates. The Vice President is expected to contribute proactively to all related initiatives within the Alternative Investments division, supporting strategic growth and operational excellence.

Investment Management and Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage or co-manage existing real estate funds and projects within approved parameters, focusing on maximizing total return for each assigned asset. This includes property efficiency analysis and identifying performance improvement opportunities.
• Participate in all negotiations with developers, property managers, service providers, or potential buyers and sellers. Establish appropriate operational structures and working processes to ensure all emanating contracts are suitable and proper.
• Identify and shortlist suitable opportunities and strategies, with a focus on income-generating projects, development initiatives, or a combination of both.

Product Development and Financial Analysis

• During the product development or acquisition phase, participate in product structuring, the due diligence process, operational setup, and contract finalization. This involves liaison and support with relevant internal and external parties.
• Develop appropriate cash flow models to accurately determine the viability of potential projects.
• Undertake comprehensive market research on competitor products and stay abreast of global economic and investment trends, utilizing both external and internal research and insights.

Project Launch and Regulatory Reporting

• Assist in formulating an end-to-end plan for product launches, considering aspects such as new product committee approvals, fund management issues, operations, accounting and tax implications, risk management, compliance, legal requirements, marketing strategies, and regulatory mandates.
• Produce periodic reports for investors as required by regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare and present reports to the fund's board on project progress and financial status, as mandated by the fund board.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Alternative Investments Vice President position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in alternative investments or a related financial field.
