About the Role

Neoleap is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in frontend development. The primary objective of this role is to design, develop, and enhance high-quality frontend applications, ensuring they deliver secure, responsive, and user-friendly digital experiences.

Role Objective

The Frontend Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all developed applications align with established technical standards, architectural guidelines, and specific business requirements. This involves a focus on creating robust and intuitive interfaces that meet user needs and organizational goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performing frontend applications primarily using React and React Native.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex features, from UI design handoff through to production release.
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional and accessible user interfaces.
• Build reusable components and shared libraries to enhance consistency across various products.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Apply client-side security practices, including authentication, session handling, and sensitive data protection.
• Manage mobile release cycles across App Store and Google Play, encompassing native build configuration.
• Ensure applications meet critical standards for performance, security, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold frontend engineering standards within the development squad.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend and device-specific issues, implementing durable and effective fixes.
• Optimize application performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Support automated testing, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and production issue resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of professional experience in frontend engineering. A strong background in developing applications with React and React Native is essential. The role also requires proficiency in translating UI/UX designs, integrating with backend services and APIs, and implementing client-side security practices. Experience with mobile release management across App Store and Google Play, along with a commitment to performance, security, and accessibility standards, is expected.

This is a full-time position based in our offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a collaborative engineering squad, contributing to the development and maintenance of Neoleap's digital products.
