Position Summary

Saudi Arabian Trading and Construction Company (SATCO) is seeking a Procurement Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading the procurement strategy for our construction projects, managing vendor sourcing, and overseeing the materials supply chain. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while aligning all procurement activities with the company’s strategic objectives and operational needs.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies specifically tailored for construction projects, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and project timelines.
• Source and manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to secure optimal pricing and terms for materials and services required in construction projects.
• Oversee the materials supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials to project sites while minimizing delays and disruptions.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify specific procurement needs and develop detailed purchasing plans that meet project requirements and budget constraints.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, performance, and reliability in delivering construction materials.
• Implement risk management strategies to evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with suppliers and procurement processes, ensuring continuity of supply throughout projects.
• Monitor procurement budgets closely, tracking expenditures and ensuring compliance with financial policies and guidelines to optimize resource allocation.
• Prepare and present comprehensive procurement reports to senior management, detailing key performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities for enhancing procurement efficiency.
