Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

Wardat Almashreq is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. The specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, and supporting audit activities within manufacturing operations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to prevent quality issues and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations by working closely with the Production and Quality Control teams. The specialist will ensure that all processes adhere to established quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures, standards, and system controls.
• Review production records, Critical Control Point (CCP)/Operational Prerequisite Program (OPRP) monitoring logs, and verification records to ensure compliance.
• Support internal audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Investigate quality deviations and support the implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Production teams to identify and prevent quality and food safety issues.
• Monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), food safety standards, and company quality procedures.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and inspection records.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and support root cause analysis.
• Train and provide technical support to QA Inspectors on quality procedures and best practices.
• Ensure continuity of operations by delegating responsibilities to qualified team members when required under the direction of the manager.
• Perform any other duties related to the position as assigned by management.

Required Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.
