The Role: Senior Engineer Structures

Walter P Moore is seeking a Senior Engineer Structures to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves contributing to the design and analysis of various structures within the firm's projects. The role requires a professional with significant experience in structural engineering, capable of working collaboratively within a project team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Structural Senior Engineer in the Riyadh office, key responsibilities include:

• Performing structural computations for the design and analysis of concrete, steel, or other miscellaneous structures.
• Creating analysis models and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural frames.
• Assisting with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.
• Understanding load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculating applicable loads based on appropriate building codes.
• Assisting with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables while working with the structures team.
• Preparing technical studies and reports.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this full-time position should possess:

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to perform structural computations and analysis for various material types.
• Proficiency in creating and interpreting structural analysis models.
• Familiarity with building codes and load path analysis.
• Experience in assisting with various project deliverables, including drawings, estimates, and reports.
