About TawanTech and the Role

TawanTech is seeking an experienced Test Environment Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role is central to leading the planning, governance, and operational management of enterprise non-production environments, which are critical for supporting application development, integration testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, and pre-production activities.

Role Overview

The Test Environment Manager role combines essential elements of Project Management, Infrastructure Coordination, and Environment Governance. The primary objective is to ensure that all test environments are delivered on schedule, properly configured, and fully aligned with both business and project objectives. This position requires a candidate with a strong technical background in infrastructure, excellent project management capabilities, and proven experience in coordinating diverse cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise test environments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all environment-related activities across various projects.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise Environment Roadmap and Capacity Plan.
• Lead environment planning meetings with Project Managers, Technical Leads, QA, Infrastructure, and Release Management teams.
• Coordinate environment provisioning across Server, Storage, Network, Database, Middleware, Security, and Cloud teams.
• Ensure infrastructure readiness prior to SIT, UAT, Performance Testing, and Pre-Production phases.
• Manage environment booking, allocation, scheduling, and conflict resolution for multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate application deployments and infrastructure changes with Release Management.
• Manage dependencies between applications, middleware, databases, network, and infrastructure services.
• Track project milestones and ensure environment delivery aligns with project timelines.
• Lead risk identification, issue management, and mitigation planning related to environment availability.
• Coordinate environment refreshes, database cloning, and test data management.
• Monitor environment utilization and optimize resource allocation.
• Lead technical discussions with infrastructure architects and engineering teams.
• Prepare executive reports, KPIs, dashboards, and environment status reports.
• Drive automation initiatives for provisioning, monitoring, and environment validation.
• Ensure compliance with Change Management, ITIL processes, and security standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong technical background in enterprise infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Proven experience in project management and environment governance.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Network, Database, Middleware, Security, DevOps, and Application Development.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise projects.

Preferred Background

• Experience within the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
