The Role of Accounts Receivable Accountant

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for monitoring sales and cash collections, managing aggregator and corporate accounts, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily restaurant sales and track cash deposits.
• Reconcile card and payment network settlements against bank statements.
• Identify and resolve variances between recorded sales and deposited amounts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash receipt reports.
• Reconcile delivery aggregator payments against invoices, resolving discrepancies and commissions.
• Manage corporate accounts and contracts, ensuring timely invoice issuance.
• Follow up on overdue balances and engage customers to accelerate collection.
• Reconcile the AR sub-ledger to the general ledger and resolve variances.
• Prepare the AR aging report and analyze delinquent accounts.
• Support month-end close with accurate, on-time data and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records to support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, VAT regulations, and company controls.
• Maintain ongoing coordination with relevant departments, including Operations, Treasury, Sales, IT, Internal Audit, and Finance.
• Coordinate with store managers to resolve deposit exceptions and cash variances.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi national.
• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant accounting role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within the Finance team at Americana Restaurants. The role involves coordination with various internal departments and store managers.
