About BeOnd and the Chief Inspector Role

BeOnd, the world's first premium leisure airline operating an all-lie-flat Airbus fleet, is establishing new Air Operator Certificates in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Chief Inspector AOC (GACA) to lead inspection and quality assurance for our Saudi Arabia operations. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is critical for ensuring airworthiness standards.

Role Overview and Regulatory Compliance

The Chief Inspector is a required management position under GACAR Part ***, appointed by and reporting directly to the Accountable Executive, independent of the Director of Maintenance. This role is central to establishing and maintaining the highest inspection standards and ensuring the integrity of airworthiness determinations for the Saudi Arabia AOC.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the required inspection programme and maintain the Required Inspection Items (RII) list.
• Set inspection standards and oversee the inspector cadre and maintenance quality assurance.
• Ensure inspection independence and the integrity of airworthiness determinations.
• Audit maintenance activities and records, and drive corrective action.
• Interface with GACA on inspection and quality matters.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must meet specific regulatory requirements and be acceptable to GACA (the President) based on their experience, competence, and knowledge. Essential qualifications include:

• Hold a mechanic certificate with both airframe and powerplant (A&P) ratings, held for at least 3 years.
• Possess at least 3 years' maintenance experience on different types of large aircraft (10+ seats), including 1 year as a maintenance inspector.
• Have at least 1 year of supervisory experience maintaining the same category and class of aircraft.
• Demonstrate a full understanding of the GACAR, operations specifications, applicable airworthiness requirements, and the operations manual.

Desirable Attributes

The ideal candidate will also possess the following attributes:

• Experience with Airbus aircraft types.
• A strong background in quality systems and required inspection processes.
