About the Role

دار الرياض | Dar Al Riyadh is seeking an Electrical Inspector to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves inspecting various electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved documents and industry standards. The Electrical Inspector will also provide support for commissioning and handover activities on large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect MV/LV distribution, lighting, small power, earthing, emergency power, and electrical life-safety installations.
Review and respond to electrical Requests for Inspection.
Verify containment, cabling, terminations, panels, fixtures, and equipment against approved documents.
Witness insulation-resistance, continuity, earth-resistance, functional, and operational tests.
Inspect electrical works across residential, commercial, retail, office, clubhouse, and external areas.
Identify defective or non-compliant installations and monitor corrective actions.
Support energisation, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of electrical inspection experience.
Experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial developments.
Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, earthing, emergency power, and life-safety systems.
Familiarity with SEC, IEC, NFPA, NEC, and Saudi Building Code requirements.
Previous consultancy or construction supervision experience is preferred.
Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is required.
