Role Overview

Alstom is seeking a full-time OBU Signaling Maintenance Technician to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves applying signaling expertise within a dynamic maintenance team focused on the Onboard signaling system. The technician will work closely with various teams to understand the European Train Control System (ETCS) Onboard signaling system architecture, functional principles, and Operation & Maintenance requirements. Key responsibilities include supporting customers in maintaining and upgrading their Onboard signaling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
Perform troubleshooting and fault finding on signaling systems.
Coach, supervise, and assess customer staff to enhance their skills.
Understand the operating dynamics, methods, procedures, and practices for operating and maintaining rail signaling systems.
Read and interpret technical schematics, drawings, and reports.
Work independently and complete assignments according to instructions, routines, and standard practices.
Adhere to Safety, Environmental, and Health requirements.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated understanding of rail signaling systems.
Ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
Commitment to safety and operational standards.
