About the Opportunity

KBR, Inc. is seeking a QA QC Manager, Saudi National, to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development, where KBR provides Project Management Consultancy services.

Role Purpose and Reporting

The QA QC Manager reports directly to the Project Director. This position is responsible for the preparation, implementation, and continuous monitoring of the programme quality plan. The primary objective is to ensure the delivery of a quality project in strict accordance with client requirements, utilizing established quality systems and tools to validate and verify all contractually required standards for project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a dedicated QA/QC team to ensure the programme achieves required quality standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the comprehensive programme Quality plan.
• Communicate the quality plan and its specific objectives effectively to staff, consultants, and contractors.
• Provide support to all Consultants, including Design Consultants and Construction Supervision Consultants, as well as contractors, in implementing Quality plans and procedures, and monitoring their performance on all quality-related matters.
• Develop and implement detailed audit schedules and plans, which include conducting unannounced visits.
• Generate statistical reports to track and communicate Quality performance.
• Identify and communicate lessons learned throughout the programme lifecycle to foster continuous improvement.
• Manage the programme's quality control testing services.
• Coordinate and manage any required 3rd party audits.

The project involves a significant infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development located in Riyadh. This development is designed to become a global landmark and an authentic destination, featuring a distinct, self-sustaining community with several iconic assets. KBR's involvement encompasses Project Management Consultancy services, covering project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and the implementation of development and early works packages.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and quality control management, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or development projects. Demonstrated experience in leading QA/QC teams, developing quality plans, and managing audits is essential.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is open to Saudi Nationals.
