The Role of Senior Director - Development

We are seeking a Senior Director - Development - Residential to join the Villas & Townhouses team, a key component of the product strategy. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves leading and driving the development of the residential portfolio from the front end, ensuring projects are commercially sound, well-positioned, and prepared for successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of development projects from initial feasibility through to delivery readiness.
• Define product strategy, including unit mix, phasing, and comprehensive development briefs.
• Drive feasibility studies, business planning, and commercial optimisation efforts.
• Manage design processes, consultants, necessary approvals, and procurement strategies.
• Represent the business effectively in key stakeholder discussions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes across the entire portfolio.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated developer mindset, extending beyond pure project management.
• Proven ability to effectively balance product considerations, design aesthetics, cost controls, programme timelines, and overall profitability.
• Experience within the Middle East region is preferred.
• Candidates with a developer background are preferred over those with purely consultancy, contractor, or Project Management Consultancy (PMC) experience.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic environment focused on large-scale residential development.
