About the Role

Four Points is seeking a Steward to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on maintaining cleanliness and order within kitchen and storage areas. The role is crucial for ensuring proper handling of equipment and supporting overall team objectives.

Role Purpose and Expectations

The Steward plays a vital role in upholding the highest standards of hygiene and operational efficiency. This position requires strict adherence to company safety and quality standards, along with the physical stamina necessary to perform various demanding tasks. The successful candidate will contribute directly to a clean and organized work environment, supporting the culinary team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Receive deliveries, ensure proper storage of perishables, and rotate stock efficiently.
• Store clean wares in designated appropriate areas.
• Utilize detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink for dish cleaning.
• Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items; return soiled items for re-scrubbing and re-washing as needed.
• Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue.
• Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware.
• Break down dirty bus tubs.
• Empty and maintain trashcans and the dumpster area.
• Clean and mop all areas within assigned departments.
• Dispose of glass in proper containers and break down cardboard boxes for recycling.

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Protect company assets and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, supporting team goals.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Requirements

• No high school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
