About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior ICT Engineer to join its team in Tabūk, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This part-time role involves leading ICT engineering design review, technical coordination, systems integration, construction support, and technology implementation for a significant Airport, Infrastructure, and Airfield Development Project. The position provides technical leadership for ICT systems supporting various airport facilities and critical infrastructure.

Role Context and Project Scope

The Senior ICT Engineer will oversee the review and coordination of airport technology systems. This includes structured cabling systems, data networks, wireless networks, telecommunications, airport operational communication systems, data centers, cybersecurity interfaces, ELV systems integration, and smart airport technologies. The role requires extensive experience in airport ICT infrastructure, multidisciplinary coordination, design management, construction supervision, testing and commissioning, and adherence to international aviation standards and technology best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ICT engineering activities throughout the airport development program.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ICT engineers, designers, consultants, and contractors.
• Establish ICT engineering review processes, technical standards, and delivery requirements.
• Ensure ICT engineering deliverables align with project objectives, operational requirements, and client expectations.
• Support ICT resource planning, technical governance, and project delivery strategies.
• Lead the review of ICT designs, technical reports, drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering submissions.
• Verify compliance with project requirements, international standards, airport technology requirements, and client specifications.
• Support value engineering initiatives to enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Review and coordinate ICT systems to ensure support for airport operational requirements and future technology expansion.
• Review network architecture, redundancy, resilience, and capacity requirements.
• Support smart airport initiatives, digital transformation, and technology-enabled operational improvements.
• Review ICT designs for alignment with cybersecurity requirements and industry best practices, coordinating interfaces with airport operational systems and enterprise networks.
• Provide ICT engineering support during construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical queries.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved ICT designs and project specifications.
• Coordinate with the Client, airport authorities, telecom providers, consultants, contractors, and technology vendors on ICT engineering matters.
• Ensure ICT works comply with project specifications, quality requirements, and international standards.
• Prepare and review ICT engineering reports, technical assessments, design review comments, and engineering recommendations.
• Maintain records of ICT design reviews, approvals, technical decisions, and site observations.
• Provide regular updates to Project Management regarding ICT progress, risks, and technical challenges.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field. This includes extensive experience in airport ICT infrastructure, multidisciplinary coordination, design management, construction supervision, testing and commissioning, and compliance with international aviation standards and technology best practices.

Desired Skills and Expertise

• Experience with smart airport solutions, digital infrastructure, and Industry technologies.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or equivalent.
• Experience working under FIDIC or similar international contract frameworks.
• Experience supporting Design-Build, EPC, PMC, or Delivery Partner project delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder coordination skills with airport operators, telecom providers, and technology vendors.

This position is based in Tabūk, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and is offered on a part-time basis.
