The Role: Mobility Operations Coordinator

The Mobility Operations Coordinator serves as the dedicated specialist within the Guest Experience team for marine and land coordination. This full-time role is crucial for connecting Shebara Resort to the wider Red Sea Destination, including guest and colleague transfers between the destination and the airport in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Assistant Guest Services Manager, this position involves hands-on coordination of daily logistics, working closely with Guest Experience and Housing teams.

Core Responsibilities: Transport Coordination & Liaison

• Oversee all marine coordination between Guest Experience and government entities, including the Coast Guard, Port Authority, and marine police.
• Build and issue daily marine reports, verifying sailing reports and weather conditions throughout the day.
• Manage last-minute corrections to sailing schedules, liaising with captains, the Mobility team, the DMC, and Marine & Coast Guard authorities.
• Coordinate all land transport between the airport, marine terminals, and the destination for guest arrivals and departures.
• Build and issue daily ground-transport schedules, aligning vehicle and driver availability with flight and boat transfers.
• Liaise with airport authorities, ground-handling agents, and transport vendors regarding permits, gate access, and meet-and-greet arrangements.
• Manage last-minute changes to road transfers due to flight delays or itinerary updates.
• Maintain accurate movement logs, manifests, and permit records for audit purposes, staying current on marine tourism regulations and road-transport documentation.

Operational Responsibilities: Guest, Employee & Stakeholder Support

• Partner with Guest Experience and Butler teams to align boat schedules with guest arrivals, departures, VIP movements, and special requests.
• Monitor weather and sea conditions, communicating transfer changes to Guest Experience leadership to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Act as a point of contact for adapting guest sailing plans, maintaining clear communication for guests and colleagues.
• Book boats for employee sailings, including shift rotations, new-joiner and offboarding movements, and supply runs.
• Manage boat permits and supporting documentation for employee and operational sailings, and assist with emergency bookings.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for boat captains, crew, ground-transport drivers, and vehicle vendors, ensuring clear daily briefings and alignment on schedules and safety.
• Coordinate daily with Red Sea Global Marine Operations, Security, and Engineering on vessel and ground-fleet readiness and destination-level logistics.
• Lead or support incident reporting and emergency transfer protocols in coordination with Security and Engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong attention to detail and relationship-building skills.

• Prior experience within Red Sea Global operations, logistics, or Guest Experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience coordinating transport or logistics in a resort, hospitality, or island destination environment.
• Experience coordinating ground transportation and airport transfers (fleet, drivers, or vehicle vendors) in addition to marine operations.
• Experience liaising directly with government or regulatory bodies (coast guard, port authorities) on permits and compliance.
• Relevant maritime safety certification (*, STCW basic safety training) is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Saudi maritime regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
• A valid Saudi driving license and familiarity with local road-transport and airport-access procedures are preferred.

• On-time performance and reliability of guest and employee boat, airport, and land transfers.
• Guest satisfaction with arrival, departure, and excursion experiences across sailing and land transfers.
• 100% compliance and audit-readiness on permits, manifests, and relevant documentation.
• Efficient vessel and vehicle utilization and cost management against the marine and land transport budget.
