About Jedco

Jedco is seeking a Capital Projects Procurement Senior Officer to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role is essential for managing procurement activities related to capital projects, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

Role Summary

The Capital Projects Procurement Senior Officer will be responsible for overseeing all procurement aspects of capital projects. This includes identifying and sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of necessary goods and services to support project timelines and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies for capital projects, aligning with organizational objectives.
Source, evaluate, and select suitable suppliers to meet capital project requirements.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effectiveness and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines effectively.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or disputes that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Ensure full compliance with established procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations throughout the entire procurement process.
Track and report on procurement activities, providing regular updates to management as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, specifically within capital projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex procurement activities from sourcing to contract negotiation and delivery.
