About Shangri-La Jeddah

Shangri-La Jeddah is located on the new Jeddah Waterfront, offering views of the Red Sea. The hotel features stylish interiors and amenities designed to reflect its coastal setting. It includes a dedicated Kids Club and various dining concepts. The property comprises 203 rooms and suites, 17 luxury serviced apartments, and 116 privately owned Burj Assila Residences with access to The Wellness Club facilities. The hotel is conveniently located near Jeddah’s landmarks and the Red Sea Mall.

The Hostess Role

The Hostess position at Shangri-La Jeddah is a full-time role focused on creating a positive dining experience for guests within the Food & Beverage outlets. This role involves more than standard greeting and serving duties; it requires adherence to Shangri-La Standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare the restaurant for service operations.
Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely service delivery to guests.
Process billing accurately and post transactions as required.
Adhere to Shangri-La Food Safety Processes and Procedures.
Support colleagues in the successful operation of the F&B outlet.
Assist the supervisor in maintaining smooth meal operations.

Candidate Requirements

Demonstrated commitment to guest satisfaction and creating positive guest experiences.
Experience level: 0-1 years.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, within the Shangri-La Hotel environment, which includes four restaurants and lounges, such as the Shang Palace.
