Shangri-La Group is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision at Shangri-La Jeddah, a luxury waterfront destination located in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of proven experience in a senior culinary leadership position.

Role Overview and Scope

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations across the hotel's six distinctive outlets. This includes two specialty restaurants, banquet facilities, and in-room dining services. The position is instrumental in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational excellence, and driving strong financial performance within the culinary department.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion culinary creativity while preserving consistency and quality across all food and beverage outlets.
• Inspire and develop a high-performing culinary brigade, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Curate innovative menus and seasonal promotions aligned with the brand's positioning.
• Lead large-scale banquet operations with precision and refinement.
• Drive food cost efficiency and productivity while maintaining uncompromising standards.
• Uphold the highest levels of hygiene, food safety, and sustainability practices.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and continuously elevate the dining experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in an equivalent senior culinary leadership role, with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated strong financial acumen and operational discipline.
• A natural ability to mentor and build high-performing teams.
• Possesses creativity, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine passion for guest engagement.
