About Suliyan Company and the Role

Suliyan Company is a diversified trading company focused on establishing and developing innovative businesses across multiple sectors. As part of its strategic expansion, Suliyan is launching a specialized Travel & Tourism Company. This new entity will provide integrated travel solutions for individuals and businesses, encompassing travel bookings, customized programs, domestic and international tourism, inbound tourism, corporate travel, and luxury travel. The company aims to build strong local and international partnerships while delivering exceptional customer experiences in line with professional standards.

Role Overview

Suliyan Company is seeking a General Manager to establish and lead its new Travel & Tourism Company. This full-time role involves overseeing the business from its initial setup through launch, daily operations, and sustainable growth. The General Manager will be responsible for building the company from the ground up, developing its services and products, establishing operational frameworks and teams, and cultivating a robust network of suppliers and partners. The successful candidate will drive client acquisition and achieve revenue and profitability targets, combining operational expertise, commercial acumen, leadership, and business development capabilities to transform a vision into a competitive and scalable travel and tourism enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment of the company and develop its strategic, operational, and commercial plans.
• Develop and design innovative travel programs, packages, and tourism services.
• Build and manage a strong network of suppliers and partners within Saudi Arabia and internationally.
• Develop the company’s business and acquire clients across individuals, corporations, and government entities.
• Lead booking, travel, and customer-service operations in line with high quality standards.
• Oversee the development of the company’s digital platform, booking systems, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead and develop teams while building a professional, high-performance work environment.
• Manage financial and operational performance and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and licensing requirements and manage business risks.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and present them to Executive Management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing a company, business unit, or tourism operation.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in designing travel programs and packages and managing tourism operations.
• Strong knowledge of booking systems, ticketing, hotels, and supplier management.
• Experience in business development, sales, negotiation, and partnership development.
• Strong financial understanding of pricing, profitability, cost management, and cash flow.
• Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build teams and make strategic decisions.

Reporting Structure and Location

This full-time position is within the Executive Management department and reports directly to the General Manager of Suliyan Company. The role is based in the Makkah region, specifically covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah.
