About the Housekeeping Supervisor Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves overseeing the quality of guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning, ensuring all standards are consistently met. The role supports Housekeeping management in daily operations and requires close collaboration with other key departments.

Core Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, and prioritize cleaning schedules.
• Update the status of departing guest rooms accurately.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments to the team.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and communicate issues effectively to the next shift.

Interdepartmental Coordination and Standards

• Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
• Assist management with various HR functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Ensure strict adherence to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all mandatory safety training and certifications.
• Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Guest Service and Professional Conduct

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Express genuine appreciation to guests for their patronage.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests.
• Foster positive working relationships with team members and respond appropriately to their concerns.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.

Physical and General Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capable of pushing and pulling a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Experience and Application
