About the Role

Astek Middle East is seeking a PMO Consultant Finance to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed to support critical business and transformation initiatives through robust project management office governance and financial oversight.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in combining project management office governance with essential financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and cost-control activities. This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective governance, financial oversight, planning, and reporting across all projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support PMO governance and ensure effective project management processes, controls, and reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate financial planning and budgeting activities for projects and transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including costs, budgets, forecasts, and variances.
  • Prepare and consolidate financial and PMO reports for management and key stakeholders.
  • Support cost control efforts to ensure projects remain aligned with approved financial plans.
  • Track project financial commitments, expenditure, and overall budget utilization.
  • Provide PMO and financial management support for transformation projects.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Project Managers, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Identify financial risks, budget deviations, and areas requiring management attention.
  • Maintain PMO documentation, governance reports, financial trackers, and project performance information.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, reporting, and financial controls.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience, with at least 3-5 years specifically in PMO or project financial management.
  • Strong professional background in Finance-related environments, combined with PMO or project management experience.
  • Proven experience in PMO governance, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Experience supporting transformation or strategic projects.
  • Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is not mandatory.
  • Experience in the insurance sector is not mandatory; candidates from other finance-related sectors will be considered.
  • Knowledge of SAMA or Saudi insurance regulatory requirements is not mandatory.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial/project reporting tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
