Storekeeper

About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position involves managing the receipt, organization, and distribution of goods within the hotel's operations. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and organize goods by department, ensuring correct warehouse placement and timely delivery to relevant departments.
• Stack received goods efficiently on pallets or trolleys.
• Complete order forms for inventory and supply management.
• Notify management promptly in case of stock depletion.
• Receive deliveries, properly store perishables, and manage stock rotation.
• Verify deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, conformity, and batch quality.
• Refuse damaged, non-compliant, or incorrect items.

Operational Duties

• Adhere to sanitary rules and handling procedures in all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and disinfect refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and pipes.
• Remove empty pallets, cartons, and waste, placing them in appropriate storage areas.

Compliance and Professional Conduct

• Report accidents, injuries, and dangerous working conditions to the manager; comply with training and obtain required safety certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and complete work uniform and maintaining a professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding brand and hotel-specific information and protect company property.
• Use clear, courteous, and professional language with guests and colleagues.
• Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers to achieve common goals.
• Comply with quality requirements and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stretch, bend, turn, pull, stoop, grasp, rotate, and handle loads.
• Ability to climb stairs and/or service access.
• Ability to move, lift, or carry loads weighing up to 23 kilograms.
• Comfortable working standing, sitting, and being in motion for extended periods.
