Role Overview

The Therapeutic Area Partner (TAP) Hematology - Jeddah is a full-time, field-based position responsible for facilitating scientific exchange with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in hematology. This role serves as the primary point of contact for HCPs, ensuring meaningful, timely, and scientifically appropriate engagement. The TAP will engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including treating physicians, clinical pharmacists, HEOR experts, and multidisciplinary teams. The position supports the safe and appropriate use of BMS products, contributes to overall objectives, and upholds BMS values. A minimum of 90% of working time is expected to be spent in the field, engaging with HCPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of disease expertise in hematology.
  • Collect and synthesize clinical data, providing insights to internal stakeholders for strategic direction.
  • Understand the treatment landscape, including HCP mapping, to address information needs.
  • Identify knowledge and care gaps within the territory and implement learning programs for HCPs.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan aligned with agreed metrics and KPIs.
  • Prepare for and conduct presentations and discussions with HCPs, ensuring medical accuracy.
  • Maintain proactive communication with physicians and other HCPs regarding approved indications.
  • Respond to unsolicited scientific and product-related questions using approved internal tools.
  • Maintain expertise on emerging data related to BMS products.
  • Collect and provide medical insights to internal teams for strategic development.
  • Develop hospital mapping to create tailored plans for each institution.
  • Understand and develop patient journeys for hospitals to identify access barriers and facilitate formulary enlistment.
  • Collaborate with key HCPs across hospitals and institutions to support timely access and formulary enlistment of approved indications and products.
  • Communicate the scientific and economic value of BMS products to HCPs, including clinical pharmacists and treating physicians.
  • Discuss and deliver Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) evidence-based information to relevant stakeholders, including government agencies and healthcare organizations, as appropriate.
  • Build strong working relationships with key external and internal stakeholders to understand HCP challenges in complex access environments.
  • Develop and deliver plans aligned with cross-functional team and product objectives.
  • Deliver scientifically meaningful programs related to disease areas and ensure effective execution.
  • Proactively seek cross-functional input for a comprehensive understanding of the treatment landscape.

  • Promote and uphold a culture of compliance.
  • Adhere to all internal and external rules and regulations.
  • Report any potential compliance concerns to management or the Compliance Department.
  • Consistently demonstrate ethical and professional conduct.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
