About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah Region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable functions.

Core Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for reviewing and recording financial transactions related to Nahdi’s property rentals and petty cash. This includes ensuring the accuracy and validity of expenses, maintaining compliance with company policies, and managing payment processes for leases.

Petty Cash Management

• Review store petty cash and maintenance invoices, comparing them against provided spreadsheets for consistency, accuracy, and expense validity.
• Conduct sample audits of store petty cash against bank statements and invoices to verify expense validity and supporting documentation.

Invoice and Document Processing

• Ensure invoice compliance by reviewing hard copies for necessary signatures, approvals, and stamps according to Nahdi’s policy.
• Enter compliant invoices into the system and forward them to the Accounts Manager for a secondary review.
• Manage the cheque log sheet, recording cheque details and following up on dispatched cheques to ensure all are returned and accounted for.

Lease Payment Administration

Prepare lease payments by reviewing Nahdi’s lease contracts. This involves ensuring accurate and timely payments, verifying that leases are posted to the correct accounts (Nahdi or Investor), and submitting them to the NTI accountant for processing.

Work Environment and Schedule

This is a full-time, indoor position. The standard working days are 5 days per week with 2 days off. Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a 1-hour break.
