About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking an AI & Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves performing manufacturing engineering work, applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to execute a sequence of related engineering tasks. The position is suitable for candidates with 2-6 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Set operational objectives and deliver results that directly impact the achievement of goals within the job area.
Explain facts, practices, and policies primarily to internal stakeholders.
Regularly correct or resolve issues and problems within existing systems and processes, implementing minor changes as needed.
Adapt or enhance the quality or value of existing methods and make improvements as part of day-to-day activities.
Address problems and issues that generally fall within a single job area or discipline, where the scope of the problem is well-defined.
Occasionally address vaguely defined problems that require understanding and consideration of other job areas.
Apply broad theory and principles within a discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.
Utilize advanced knowledge and skills within a specific discipline, integrating theory and principles with organizational practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

2-6 years of experience in a relevant engineering field.
Demonstrated ability to apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.

Skills and Attributes

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address well-defined issues.
Capacity to understand and consider broader implications for vaguely defined problems.
Proficiency in applying theoretical knowledge and principles to practical situations.
Ability to communicate effectively regarding technical facts, practices, and policies.

Work Environment and Scope

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic, limited to locations within Saudi Arabia or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts. The role is based in Jeddah and is a full-time position.
