Role Overview: Business Development Executive

APICO is seeking a Business Development Executive for a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and conducting lead generation activities to expand APICO’s customer base within the plastic packaging and related sectors. The Executive will engage with prospective and existing clients, present APICO’s product portfolio and solutions, prepare proposals and quotations, and negotiate terms within established company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop assigned key customer accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries.
• Generate and follow up on sales leads from various sources, including customer referrals, exhibitions, market research, and digital platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Support the preparation of commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and business cases.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer developments to identify growth opportunities.

Project Management and Internal Coordination

• Follow customer projects from the Request for Quotation (RFQ) stage through quotation, development, launch, and production.
• Coordinate activities between Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Tooling, and Manufacturing departments.
• Track project milestones, action items, and timelines to ensure successful execution.
• Maintain accurate project status reports and management dashboards.

Business Analytics and Digital Utilization

• Analyze sales, customer, pricing, and project data to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to sales performance, project pipeline, customer growth, and profitability.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities.
• Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, customer intelligence, market research, and reporting.
• Leverage AI-assisted analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and business risks.
• Continuously explore innovative digital tools that enhance commercial performance.

Candidate Profile
