Role Overview

The Residence Guest Service Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all guests at Shangri-La Jeddah. This full-time position involves direct interaction with guests, managing key front office operations, and providing comprehensive support for inquiries and requests.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage guest registration and check-out processes efficiently.
• Handle cashiering duties and foreign exchange transactions.
• Ensure sufficient stock of necessary supplies for the expected business volume during covered shifts and for the day.
• Prepare all required documents, including registration forms and welcome folders, prior to guest arrivals to facilitate smooth check-ins.

Guest Engagement and Support

• Acknowledge and warmly welcome guests immediately upon their approach to the service desk.
• Review OPMS records to understand guest history and any specialized instructions.
• Assist guests in accurately completing registration forms, verifying that all important details are included.
• Direct guests to appropriate lifts and coordinate effectively with Concierge staff.
• Facilitate or provide direct assistance in response to guest queries and requests.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this full-time role should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience in a guest service or front office capacity. A strong commitment to service excellence and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
