About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Head of Non-Food Private Brand to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves leading the strategic development, growth, and profitability of Panda’s Private Brand portfolio across assigned non-food categories.

Role Purpose

The Head of Non-Food Private Brand is accountable for translating category strategies into competitive assortments, establishing strong supplier partnerships, executing product launches, and optimizing range performance. This role is central to driving sales growth, margin, quality, and customer trust, while ensuring alignment with Panda’s commercial objectives and SFDA regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Private Brand category and business strategies to achieve agreed sales, penetration, margin, and quality targets.
• Manage end-to-end Private Brand development, including product briefs, specifications, benchmarking, supplier sourcing (local and import), cost negotiation, and launch execution.
• Oversee annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts for assigned categories, ensuring delivery against financial KPIs.
• Lead range architecture, innovation pipelines, and launch plans in alignment with Panda’s overall category strategies.
• Analyze sales, margin, rate of sale, and customer feedback to optimize range performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and commercial negotiations to secure optimal cost structures, service levels, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Buying, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Packaging, and Marketing, to ensure aligned and timely execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• University degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience within FMCG/CPG retail or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated responsibility for Private Brand or category management, product development, sourcing, and commercial negotiations.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
