About the Role

Agoda is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate Manager, Marketing Strategy to join its team. This full-time position is based in Bangkok, Thailand, with relocation assistance provided. The role involves contributing to a data-driven marketing team focused on developing measurable programs to enhance customer lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct experimentation and optimize campaign performance by testing ad and campaign structures, along with bidding and pricing strategies on platforms such as Google, Bing, Tripadvisor, and Trivago.
• Adapt to new product features and implement changes based on successful test outcomes.
• Develop predictive models using data science techniques to analyze large datasets from experiments, understanding impacts like bookings from large-scale TV campaigns or demand elasticity from pricing optimization.
• Collaborate with product teams on the implementation roadmap for developed models.
• Build dashboards to track performance, derive insights, identify growth levers, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders through presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top university in a quantitative field (*, computer science, mathematics, engineering, business, or science).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis from a top-tier consulting firm, investment banking, private equity, or a strategy/business role within a fast-growing global tech company.
• Proficiency in one or more data analysis packages or databases (*, SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA, SQL) and visualization tools (*, Tableau, Power BI).
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and make decisions based on objective evidence rather than subjective judgment.
• Strong sense of ownership, drive to make an impact, and ability to influence outcomes.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work independently.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Experience in digital marketing or e-commerce.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and other testing metrics.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
