Shipping and Receiving Specialist

About the Role

Rheinmetall is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position supports the procurement process for military spare parts and equipment, focusing on administrative tasks, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The role involves assisting with inventory management, order processing, and vendor communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
• Track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and timely replenishment.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Support the overall shipping and receiving process for incoming and outgoing goods.

Core Duties

• Perform accurate data entry for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Enter shipment codes, quantities, and delivery details into Microsoft Excel.
• Maintain effective communication with vendors regarding order status and delivery schedules.
• Contribute to the administrative aspects of procurement to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 year of relevant experience in shipping, receiving, or procurement support.
• Proficiency in data entry and experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for vendor interaction.

Location and Eligibility

This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. For localization purposes, candidates must be local citizens.
