Role Overview

Jensen Hughes is seeking a Technician – Room Integrity & Fire Life Safety Testing to join their dedicated Fire & Life Safety Testing team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting specialist testing and inspection services for fire protection and life safety systems across the region. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with Door Fan / Room Integrity Testing for clean agent and gaseous suppression systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
Set up, operate, and maintain Retrotec testing equipment and other tools used for Fire & Life Safety inspections.
Support various Fire & Life Safety testing activities, including smoke control and pressurization, fire alarm and suppression system testing, and emergency lighting checks.
Accurately record test readings, observations, and results, and assist in preparing test reports and identifying deficiencies.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and facility teams during site testing and inspections.
Adhere to all HSE, permit-to-work, security, and site requirements, including those for working in live and operational facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years of experience in a relevant technical role.
Demonstrated ability to perform hands-on testing and inspection tasks.
Familiarity with NFPA 2001 and ISO 14520 standards is preferred.
Strong attention to detail for accurate data recording and reporting.
