Role Overview: Team Leader

Almarai is seeking a Team Leader for a full-time position based in Rabigh. This role involves leading a self-directing, multi-functional team responsible for the efficient intake and processing of poultry products. The primary objective is to meet internal customer requirements while adhering to management performance parameters, with a focus on operational efficiency and product quality. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a self-directing, multi-functional team in poultry intake and processing.
• Ensure efficient processing of specified poultry products.
• Meet internal customer requirements within established management performance parameters.
• Focus on optimizing efficiency and minimizing loss-in-process.
• Achieve zero non-conformance by consistently targeting correct product specifications, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Poultry Processing, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Ability to propose process optimization to improve departmental service levels.
• Well-versed with developing systems, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and plant commissioning.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position within a poultry food environment.
• Experience in finalizing and implementing daily Production plans with the Production Management team regarding production and maintenance activities.
• Experience in conducting Internal Quality / HACCP Audits.
• Experience in conducting Safety and Risk Assessments.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located in Rabigh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic food manufacturing environment, requiring leadership of a multi-functional team focused on operational excellence and adherence to industry standards.
