About the Role

International Maritime Industries is seeking an Engineer Planning NBR to join their team in Ras Tannurah, Eastern region. This full-time role involves determining and developing suitable and economically viable engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning schedules for projects. The Engineer Planning NBR will be involved from the development stages and will oversee project progress on-site during construction until completion, requiring 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and update Project Schedules from the bidding stage through to close-out.
Prepare regular Project performance reports and develop measures to support schedule progress.
Prepare weekly/monthly Subcontract accruals for Labor, Materials, and Equipment.
Conduct Yard Capacity Planning for Zones A & D2 based on information from current Projects and Business Development, in coordination with Zone A, Zone C, and Asset Management & Marine Operation Teams. Identify and report potential issues and risks with proposed mitigations.
Conduct manpower planning based on Yard Capacity and Area planning, coordinating with Zones A, B, & C planning teams and HR on the path forward.
Update schedules and perform forecasts in coordination with stakeholders including engineering, P&SC, production, commissioning, and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports, highlighting areas of concern and proposing mitigations.
Carry out schedule risk analysis as required and maintain the Risk Register.
Monitor the potential for Change Management (internal/customer/supplier) and update the Project Management Team (PMT).
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as directed by the head of the department.

Required Experience and Attributes

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires individuals who are willing to work extra hours, are diplomatic in their approach, and demonstrate flexibility in their work.
