The Role of Front Desk Agent

Morgans Originals is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent for a full-time position in Ras Tanura, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This role is fundamental to the guest experience, ensuring efficient and professional service from arrival through departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and manage the check-in and check-out processes, including handling payments and issuing room keys.
• Assist guests with special requests, room upgrades, and assignments based on availability.
• Provide comprehensive information regarding hotel facilities, amenities, and local attractions.
• Handle service requests such as transportation arrangements, wake-up calls, and dining reservations.
• Address guest complaints or issues promptly, escalating to management when necessary.
• Maintain effective communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and other communications professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of charges and payments, processing cash and credit card transactions.
• Update guest information within the hotel management system.
• Monitor hotel security by verifying guest identities during check-in and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Upsell hotel services, amenities, and packages to enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to revenue.
• Conduct courtesy calls to in-house guests and maintain corresponding records.
• Stay informed on hotel information and local services, including operational hours, promotions, events, and attractions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support departmental operations and property objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation, and sophisticated communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while maintaining composure.
• Flexibility in working hours is required.
• A hospitality diploma is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office Suite, and Opera PMS systems is recommended.
• Proven ability to handle cash transactions effectively and accurately.
