Ma'aden, established in 1997, is one of the fastest-growing mining companies globally and the largest multi-commodity mining and metals company in the Middle East. We are seeking a Specialist, FM QHSE III to join our team in Turaif. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 2-5 years of experience in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment within Facility Management, contributing to the development of Saudi Arabia's mining industry.

Role Purpose

The Specialist, FM QHSE III drives the effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of QHSE requirements across all Facility Management operations. This role is central to strengthening safe, compliant, and reliable service delivery across a broad scope, including soft and hard services, contractors, accommodation, offices, workshops, utilities, and transportation interfaces. The specialist will enhance QHSE performance through systematic inspections, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action closure, ensuring alignment with company policies, regulations, and integrated management system expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QHSE requirements across Facility Management activities and contractor-controlled work areas, covering cleaning, catering, pest control, landscaping, waste management, and maintenance support.
• Conduct site inspections, behavioral observations, hygiene checks, and facility walkthroughs to identify QHSE gaps, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, quality defects, environmental issues, and procedural non-compliance.
• Strengthen operational safety through risk assessments, job safety analyses, method statement reviews, and verification of permit-to-work controls.
• Monitor contractor compliance with QHSE obligations, including PPE use, equipment condition, manpower discipline, housekeeping, waste segregation, chemical handling, food safety, and accommodation standards.
• Participate in investigations for incidents, near-misses, property damage, service failures, and customer complaints, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions through closure.
• Support internal and external audits across quality, safety, environment, and contractor performance, tracking audit findings, communicating actions, and driving effective closure.
• Maintain QHSE records, inspection reports, audit findings, action trackers, and training attendance, preparing incident statistics, performance dashboards, and Facility Management QHSE reports.
• Deliver QHSE inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors, promoting safe work practices, emergency procedures, environmental protection, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities across Facility Management areas, maintaining readiness for evacuations, spill response, first aid, and emergency communication.

Qualifications and Certifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant QHSE role, preferably within Facility Management.
• Professional certifications in QHSE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Turaif and requires the ability to work independently in remote or operational environments. The role involves promoting proactive QHSE ownership with supervisors, service providers, and frontline personnel, encouraging hazard reporting, lessons learned, and continuous improvement for high-quality service delivery.
