The Visual Merchandiser position at Apparel Group is responsible for developing, communicating, and delivering visual concepts that promote the brand, products, and services in-store. This role involves training and coaching the store team to execute visual merchandising tasks and managing daily, weekly, and seasonal merchandising tasks.
Basic Responsibilities
- Ensure the brand identity and display standards are achieved in the windows and sales store.
- Implement the brand's visual promotional standards.
- Coordinate the store display according to brand guidelines and strategies.
- Develop floor plans and increase visual impact.
- Arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures, and store layout guides.
- Take photos of any changes in product displays.
- Use creative lighting in the windows.
- Increase distribution of new merchandise and re-display the store when new trends emerge.
- Create the store layout according to product categories.
- Ensure good display of items.
- Collect and evaluate merchandise feedback.
- Work closely with operations teams and brand management to increase sales.
- Participate in pre-opening of stores and visit regular appointments to ensure brand standards are implemented.
- Conduct research on current market trends and lifestyles.
